Middle name dilemma krschulte Due August 6 (twins); 17 kids; Oceanside, California 17 posts

I really like the name Emberlynn. I am also fond of the idea that the middle name have a form of Jo or John in it. I can't for the life of me find a middle name that flows well with Emberlynn. Everything always seems like such a mouthful. Any suggestions?

The last name will be Markowski if that helps any.

Honestly, I dislike just Jo as a middle name because I have a slight Southern accent and sound like a complete hick when saying it. I guess it comes off redneck-ish to me.

Not a fan of Emberlynn. It's tryndeigh, made up, and juvenile.

All names were just made up? And it is just a combination of the completely "normal" names Ember and Lynn. Not that trendy or out there. :/

How were all names just made up if they've been around for thousands of years?

I've thought about Joann or Joanna. I think Joann has been my favorite so far.

At some point someone made up the name John or Mary even if it happened to be thousands of years ago. Where did you think names came from?

Emberlynn is horrid.

Emberlynn with your last name is even worse.

Not really. The last name is complex and rich, so I would still with a lovely and uncomplicated first name at least 2 syllables and a 1 syllable middle name.

I am having twin girls and we are naming one of them Kaylin Sahara (Sahara was my first name before I was adopted). So for the other girl 's middle name I was hoping to incorporate something from the father's name, Joseph Jonathan.

I really like Ember though! :) such dilemmas.
