Educated on the dangers of leaving baby in the car, yes. It is common sense but so many people do it, so they need it drilling into them.
I don't really think she needs to get a criminal record from it, just to prove that she is competent after taking some classes.

Fines are bad punishments. Say she got a 5k fine. Which she wouldn't but let's just say she did. She'll pay that off at $5 or $10 a week.
I have fines I pay off $10 a week. I don't even notice it. People don't learn from fines.

I will leave my kids in the car with the windows down and doors locked to pay for fuel but i also pull my car up to the door so im only like 10 feet away from the car and i can see them...
I would never leave my kids anywhere i couldnt see them or get to them in under 30 seconds
