It was Sunday! You know, National Walking Dead Day. Phil and I had a rather uneventful anniversary day with minimal hustle or bustle as far as activity went. I was dutifully complaining the whole day about how much I hated being as far along as I was and my stupid body would probably never go into labor on its own. Cohen went to sleep at a little later that night since we were all adjusting to the Daylight Savings. We lost a good part of our night just convincing him it was time for bed. It was getting late but since it was our anniversary there were certain extracurricular activities that were expected to take place. I grumbled and obliged, hoping maybe it would help jump start labor but secretly knowing it wouldn
Wow, that sounds pretty intense! Congrats though. :) My DD's name is Cassidy too!

it's so scary! at least for me it was. I feel like I have a little PTSD for lack of a better term from that experience. I shudder when I think about it instead of being happy and proud.
I only tore enough to get one stitch thank god. Although IDK how with how violent everything felt.
What a cute story :) Fun read!
SHE'S EFFING GORGEOUS.
Quoting Baboon-Loon:" I had one kid in an ambulance, and one on my living room floor 8) I'm not traumatized, though....it was cool"

I was anxious but I was a little nervous, Not so much scared. I was just afriad that something was going to go wrong. With how close and intense my contractions got within such a small amount of time, they kept turning me side to side everyone 30 seconds or so and said her heart rate was dropping because she couldn't take the contractions with how fast they were coming. They put me on O2 because of my Oxygen levels to her were lowering with the pain but by the time they told me I needed to get on my hands and knees to help my daughter calm down, I had MAJOR feelings of needing to poo (of course I knew thats not what it was) and there was NO WAY in hell that I could stop myself from doing it. I yelled at them the first time that I needed to push but they blew me off and kept turning me, trying to get an IV in my hand, monitoring her, ect but a couple of seconds later, I yelled again that I NEEDED to push and finally she checked me and my daughter was also crowning and I could feel her making her way down but as I said, it didn't hurt at all it was just the contractions.
The tear, from what they said was a small one but I looked at it yesterday because it was burning to pee where they stitched me up and I had my husband take a picture. All my stitches are gone but my tear is still there. Its a decent sized.
Atleast our children are here now. But I would love to experience all of my labor and birth over again. I was planning an ALL natural birth anyway because the hospital I went to, had brand-new labor and delivery suites with jet tubs, large labor rooms, gorgeous hall ways, birthing balls, and I bought a "Pretty Pushers" gown to labor in. I didn't get to do shit with what I wanted. LOL

I get distracted so easily, but I will attempt to read it. (:
Okay, I got unlazy & read your story. It was seriously the best labor story I have ever read on here. I love the way you described everything, pretty much told the truth as most women like to beautify labor. Lol. I did  Anyways, congrats again!
