My youngest daughter's name is Isla and I get a lot of Is la and eese la. I will normally correct them. At the dr. they kept saying it wrong and then correcting themselves when they remembered.

Kinda.

I usually get Da-Vaughn, for Devon. It's DEV-IN.

But no one ever mispronounces Evan.

My daughter's name is Alessa (uh-less-uh) and people pronounce is as Alyssa all the time. If it is someone she sees often, I correct them.
