I grew up in Oklahoma my whole life, but I have seen the Atlantoc and Pacific. I seen the Atlanta when I used to go visit my husband in GA when he graduated from boot camp and then for his schooling. Then I seen the Pacific when I lived in Hawaii for 4 years. lol I want to go back to Hawaii so bad though! I love the ocean there, it is so pretty and I just love all of Hawaii.

I haven't, and my husband hasn't either. Our first real vacation we ever take will be us and the kids all seeing it together for the first time.

I've seen the ocean. I used to live in Texas.

But the best ocean moment I ever had was with my ex.... we went to California and saw dolphins jumping in the water as the sun set over the water.

Best. Moment. Ever.

f**k I miss that man. Talk about the most romantic moment ever. :(

I live in the Midwest, and the first time I saw the ocean was when we went to Florida when I was 13. Didn't see one again until I was 25 when we went to Cali. And just was in Mississippi last summer, so again years later. It's definitely not something I am use to, and I love it every time I am near.

I've seen both the Atlantic and the Pacific multiple times. The Gulf of Mexico, too, if you count that.

Quoting Thisperyears:" Have you ever seen one in real life? I'm just asking because I just realized that a majority of people ... [snip!] ... live in the US (and pretty much every other country represented on BG) don't live right near the coast and now I'm curious."

Yes I have.

Quoting ILOVEWINE:" Uh yes lol who hasn't been to the ocean."

a lot of people.. that's why she posted this.

I grew up in GA.. went a few times a year to the ocean. but. I've been in MN for 11 years, and my kids have never seen the ocean. I can't wait to take them, but finances are always an issue.. and we're about 20 hours drive from the ocean.

Yes when my husband was in the Navy we were stationed on both coasts. Virginia Beach, VA, Oak Harbor, WA, and San Diego. Washington was my favorite.

Lots of times! I live 8mile from the ocean. I do not rate it though. 5hrs down to Cornwall though and it's beautiful. I can see my feet in the water and the beaches are amazing! Here's it dirty and nasty!

Yup! I grew up on the East Coast and went to the beach often as a teen. I've always lived near the water with the exception of roughly a year.

I see it everyday and couldn't imagine not!
So much of my life literally revolves around the ocean; I seriously wouldn't know what to do with myself without!
