Acupuncture & RRLT To Help Labor? His Dairy Queen 3 kids; 6 angel babies; Edmonton, AB, Canada 3642 posts

Ok, so I just saw my new dr yesterday, he has agreed to let me do a trial of labor VBA4C's... in the hospital of course. Anyway, he is going to check my uterine scar in a few weeks, and if it's more then 4.1mm thick I should be ok. But he said if I do this I can not have any methods of medical interventions...so my question is, did any of you ladies use acupuncture or red raspberry leaf tea during your pregnancy to prepare for labor? If so, did you have an easier quicker labor as I read so much about?

Just trying to prepare myself...I have already been drinking the tea for a while, and doing hypnobirthing.

Here is a link to a thread where some mama'a tried out the rrlt theory. It worked for some, too, but only when they were ready to go anyway. http://www.mothering.com/community/t/347728/red-raspberry-leaf-tea-tribe

Good luck! I drank RRLTand push my babies out within minutes...hypno birthing is good helps you relax and not tense up with contractions wich makes it hurt soooo much worse. You cando it!!! Good luck!!!!idk about acupuncture but it cant hurt

I drank rrlt from the second trimester on. With my ob's supervision. It still took me 3 hours to push dd out. But she was faced the wrong way, which probably slowed down the process.
