I didn't argue much because I was 20 when I asked but my thing is, I have 2 kids. Of each sex. I'm almost 22. I know I don't want anymore. I have been saying that since I had DD. They are too expensive. I just want these two and I want to be able to give them everything. If I have another kid, we don't make enough to keep that up. And I don't feel that they should go without because I popped another kid out.
Plus I feel like our family is complete. I can't even picture another child.

I have a friend who never wanted kids, she got pregnant on the pill and using condoms and have her daughter up for adoption cause she didn't believe in abortion past 12 weeks and she found out at 14 wks.
She is pregnant now again (also a BC baby) and keeping it, not because she's changed her mind about not wanting kids but she said it hurt placing her daughter and she can't go through that again so she has no other choice.
I feel so bad for her because she would have had her tubes tied ASAP if there were restrictions. Then she wouldn't have to deal with any of this.
Im 23 and my second child is due April 2 my doctor said he just prefers you wait to get fixed until this one is over a year old and i live in ohio.
I know in SC the age is 21 so ask your OB. When I went in for my very first appointment they asked me if I wanted my tubes tied and before they could write it down in my chart they had to make sure I would be 21 after I had the baby.

I live in GA and my doctor said I could at 21...and I have two boys
