No I can't decide by myself. I made 2 loaves last night. My gram swiped one when she came to visit. And my kids/hubby/myself mowed down on the other. So I have to make more for this week. :lol: Makes me happy it is so delicious.
What kind should I make? Another batch of honey whole wheat OR Traditional white bread- it will be half whole wheat, because I don't make straight white bread.
mmmm off to have a piece spread with this greek yogurt, dill and cucumber spread.
Idk...but share your recipes please :D...I am going to start making bread for the man and SIL cuz Im nice. I got a kitchen aid for Christmas and it has a dough hook. Do you use a bread machine?

Nope. I do it all by hand lol. My gram brought her bread machine today with this book. But I haven't used it. I really enjoy baking so I don't foresee using it much.
I use my moms Betty Crocker cook book from the 1970's or 1980's. It's missing a few pages and is really worn, but she wrote notes in it and it's one of the things I swipped before my sister got their grubby little hands on it- They took almost all her stuff. So eh, I feel special with it :D
And then another bread book that was hers called Kitchen Treasury Series BREADS published 1987.
I use them both equally.
And then I bake a lot of muffins. It doesn't matter what recipe you use, they will pretty much be the same. However, I substitute the butter- 1/2 butter and 1/2 applesauce. In cake instead of eggs I use banana if it's white cake. And always, half white and half whole wheat in my muffins, breads, rolls, dumplings. Raw sugar instead of refined.
This website has yummy recipes for pumpkin and sweet potato muffins. I usually do my own measurements.. But these are both good bases. Puree pumpkin and puree sweet potato out of the can. I buy organic. But yeah, I hope that helps :)

And I forgot to say, I add in 1/4 - 1/2 cup ground flaxseed to my muffins.
And here are a few recipes
3 Hour Oatmeal Bread
1 c quick oatmeal
1/2 c wheat flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1 TBSP salt
2 TBSP butter
1/2 c cold water
combine is a large bowl pour 2 cups boiling water over stir cool to luke warm.
Add in 2 TBSP yeast
4 cups flour
1 c rye flour
Rest 5 minutes
Knead 10 minute, raise one hour, punch and shape, rise 1/2 hour placed in a cold oven 30 min.
Take bread out and preheat to 350 bake for 40 mins. Makes 2 loaves.
Mississippi Mud Pie
Grease and Flour 13 x9 Pan. Preheat oven to 350 bake 40 minutes
1 c water
1 cube butter
1/2 c applesauce
Bring to a boil in a 2 qt pan
stir in 2 c sugar
in another bowl white whip together and set aside
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla
add to number 1 and then to number 3
stir in nuts if desired
Flax Seed Muffins
1 1/4 c flour
3/4 cup ground flaxseed
2/3 c sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
mix and then add
2 eggs, 2 TBSP oil
1 c buttermilk
1/2 c raisins/nuts/choco chips
375 for 30-35 minutes
1/4 c salad oil
1 1/4 c four
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c blueberries
1/2 cup milk
grease bottom only of muffin tin.
400 for 25 minutes.
