Can you feel it? homes cool Due July 25; 2 kids; 2 angel babies; Indiana 63165 posts

Can you just feel when your spouse is hurting? Can you just tell something is wrong? I've always been able to with DH, and it always blows my mind. We very briefly separated many years ago, and I just knew something with him was wrong. I could feel it in every part of my body. I finally reached out to one of his family members, and discovered that he was in the hospital having kidney problems. I immediately called him (and ta-da, we're married.)

But I can always just feel it when something is going on with him. Anyone else's relationship like that? As corny as it is, it's like our souls are synchronized together.

Yes, but I'm always the ones with the problems so it's him who always knows when something is not right, lol

Nope
But that's super cool!

We can only tell when we're WITH eachother, or talking on the phone, etc. And that's just because we can hear it in eachother's voices, etc.

I saw dh's motorcycle wreck the day it happened, but I didn't know it was him. We hadn't talked in a while. I just saw the wreck in my head and had a terrible feeling in my gut. I didn't find out until a couple of months later that it was him. I actually noted it in a journal I kept and when I went back to look, sure enough it was that day.

That's my most vivid example but yeah, that stuff happens a lot.

DH does it with me but I'm a dirty liar and always say nothing is wrong.

My SO and I are both like that. I can tell when something is wrong with him, and he can tell when something is wrong with me. He's the one who can even tell before I can when I'm pregnant. He just KNOWS. We are often thinking the same thing, and we are in line with so many things, and we don't always have to say it.

I know when he's getting sick but nothing really crazy. He knows when I'm pregnant though. The first one (unplanned, ended in miscarriage) he just handed me money and told me to get pregnancy tests...sure enough I was pregnant!

I rather be in pain then my SO.

When he's sick I feel awful, when he's sad I feel depressed. I hate seeing him down.

Dh says he knows when I'm pregnant because I turn into a "typical hormonal woman".

Yeah, but most of the time it's me having an issue and him reading me like a bedtime story lol When he does have something bothering him I can tell, but most of the time it's me with issues lol

It's just somethings surreal. It isn't even like it's a hit or miss thing with us, it's just...the way its always been.
