My daughter (21 months) started daycare this week. It's the first time she's ever been away from me. According to the daycare she doesn't cry after we have gone, takes her nap correctly and has a great time. At home it's a different story. She's never slept good at the best of times but now she isn't in bed til past ten and is up before seven. She's clearly exhausted but she fits it and screams to the point where it sounds like she's being hurt. Our neighbors bedroom is parallel with hers so I can't just leave her to cry. She is throwing constant fits when at home or anywhere away from daycare. The screaming like she's being hurt has become her daily routine. It's a big change and I'm not sure how to handle it. She knows a lot of words but no sentences yet, she's still figuring out how to communicate. Help!
