I'm just trying to see others opinions on diapers. Trying to decide a brand to go with and since this is my first child I don't have experience with all the brands.. Which ones leak, fall apart ect

We use parents choice.... Im not going broke for something my kid poops in lol. So we like generic. Ive used Up and Up also but I hate their wipes so Im usually at Walmart anyway.

I only used huggies because anything else made DS rash really bad.

We did have leaks and stuff but not often.

Even now we only use pull-ups. (for night time)
I tried using Good Nights but after a week he started getting a rash.

pampers work best for DD. i have never once had one leak with her. huggies are number two. everything else is out of the question because of the leaking issue.

I got a ton of Huggies at my baby shower. DD is EBF and her poops are very watery, and she tends to explode out the side of them and all over her clothes. I've found that Luvs contain the poopy explosions much better. However, I'm going to be switching to something hypoallergenic when I run out (like Seventh Generation) because both seem to irritate her bottom.

ETA: DH likes the Huggies because they have the blue indicator strip so he knows when she's wet :)

I use cloth with my daughter but if for disposable when I used them for my boys it was always Huggies or PC brand. I hated the scented smell Pampers had.

For newborns I believe the majority of parents prefer pampers swaddlers. For my son after he started moving and walking, huggies seem to fit him the best and not leave any red marks.
