Quoting Dr. Temperance Brennan:" I leave mine to have a gangbang. "
kids do ruin drinking and gang bangs.Damn brats always with their needs ...ugh
I leave dd in the car to pump gas, run into the ATM, and go to the post office. I would give the kid a medal if she could push down the clutch and brake at the same time to start the car.
My parents used to go grocery shopping and leave us in the car when we were her age. She's five.
I'still bring my 9 year old into the gas station with me if its necessary to go inside, but I wouldn't judge someone who didn't.
When they are old enough to let themselves out.
Quoting bbbt:" When they are old enough to let themselves out. "
Let themselves out of? The car?
My daughter was able to at 3 yrs old...
Quoting Barfy McVomitron:" the law here is 8"
Eight sounds good then.
Quoting Meg ♥:" Let themselves out of? The car? My daughter was able to at 3 yrs old..."
That is scary! I definitely wouldn't a three year old by themselves.
When you can legally leave them alone. So 12. Mind you... I just left the 9th most violent city in my Country.
Quoting Barfy McVomitron:" slut lol"
You won't find me denying it...

most states don't have an age that it is legal to be alone...just guidelines. And... in MN>.. tha'ts 9. As a nurse... I've taught classes in school teaching 9 year olds how to be responsible home alone. They just cannot be in charge of another child until 11 here.
Quoting Dr. Temperance Brennan:" You won't find me denying it..."
lol sorry, that was kinda cheesy of me. I swear I don't say oh snap in real life
DD stays in the car with her 4 yr old sister when getting gas, running into the bank (atm).
Thats about it. She is 10.5 yrs old And it only happens when I am not in thecar, lol I dont drive myself so its my dad who drives, If I am there then one of us stays in the car. lol
Quoting THE KATIE PRICE:" There is no way that my LO would be able to get it into drive or neutral with the ignition on...but, ... [snip!] ... ignition on...but, I would never risk it! We all make mistakes, I learnt from mine. He thought he was awesome afterwards lol"
yeah that was one summer when I had flown in to visit my mom, and didn't have my car, so she loaned me her old truck for when I was in town.. I will never put a toddler in the front seat of a truck again... and I had forgotten about it until a few months ago at dinner when he announced "remember when you were pumping gas and I drove memaw's truck?" she looked at me like wtf?
Quoting DannyPete&MaggieKate's Ma:" lol I was thinkin the same thing! In my second grade school picture I have a chain with my house key ... [snip!] ... my key like once a month). So I was like 7 and my 9 year old sister and I get a snack and watch tv until my parents got here."
when I was 9 (my older sister was 11) we rode the bus home, let ourselves in with our key, and waited about an hour before mom got home. we let the dogs out, watered them, made our snacks... but we lived in a rural community. I wouldn't trust my kids alone where we live now. I think it all just depends on what kind of community you live in.
