So I need to see some updated baby picture from you ladies. I feel like Layla has already gotten so big, I know your little ones have to be getting there too. Here's a few from me..
It's not that great of a pic, but this was her outfit today. I love it! She looks so sassy.
And this was her like ten minutes ago in the bath. I fed her and now she's laying on my chest as I type hahah.
And no.. I wasn't washing her with the Gain dish soap lmao.
Big baller, shot caller! Ignore the messy table, we were at a restaurant..
And I can't remember if I showed this one to you guys yet, but this is what I call her derp face lmao.
Now show me those babies!
Hey ladies!! Glad to read all the updates and see everyone's doing great and adjusting to mommyhood well with all their precious babies! I love seeing all those chunky babies! My Madison is up to 12lbs already and is in 3month old clothes, she's eating about 4-5 oz every 3-4hours and is pretty much a great baby! She's been a bit mad at me lately, I had to have surgery today to remove 2 kidney stones (never had them before and though I was dying!!) and my milk hasn't been good for 3 days now :( never thought I'd be so said to see milk poured down te drain. The formula has really taken its toll on her poor belly so she will be gald to get the b**b back at lunch time tomorrow. Lol I'll post some pics when Im able to get a computer. Keep the updates and pics coming ladies!!
Okay mamas here is my baby pictures update!!
Getting ready to head to dinner :)

After a good feeding! lol
Its such a hard life being a spoiled baby girl!
And one of my big 4 YEAR OLD!! Her Birthday was July 9th! I can't believe how fast shes growing up!!

Oh. my. GAWDDD THEY'RE TOO CUTE!!! Was your oldest a mermaid? Hehe, that outfit is adorable! And your little one is too stinkin cute, I love the bow in the first pic! And I'm pretty sure I have the exact same polka-dot onesie (but I think I have the 3-6 month size). The facepalm picture is hilarious lol. Is that her in a bouncer? I finally got batteries for mine a couple weeks ago and Layla will sit in it for about five minutes and then start screaming lol. We have a swing for her too but it doesn't recline so we can't put her in it yet cuz her head's too wobbly. SO's mom just got a swing for when she watches her and apparently she loves it. The only place she'll sit for more than five minutes for me is her Boppy.
Omg those girls are gonna give their daddy gray hairs!!!! Beautiful! LOVE dd1s mermaid outfit! That's so adorable. Ugh they grow too fast :( hmm u could use a rolled up blanket round Layla's head in the swing. I got Aaron's NB pics finally so ill have to share in a bit. He's now 13 lbs as of yesterday. Size 2 diaper and they're tight so he won't be in them long, size 2 shoes! Still in 0-3 month clothes but only bc I can still snap the onesies- barely but still able too. He has chunky thighs and huge arms. He's 6 wks old and starting to smile back at me. Starting to coo and grab the toys on his bouncer. He's gaining better head control every day and doing the superman thing on his belly. His birthmark still looks like a chopper and its gotten darker. He goes for his 2nd pedi appt in 2 wks I go for my 2nd pp appt next thurs. I think I'm gonna go back on the mini bc pill. What else? Oh the girls are destroying dd1s room. We had to separate them bc of it. Broke mini blinds, hole in wall, ripped drywall off, pulled trim down, and dd1 has began peeing on carpet. Ugh my kids I swear. I thought I saw a huge animal of some sort out by the dog pen teasing the dogs hubby checked and found a set of bear tracks o.O course it's been raining nonstop so no pics to show :( we have a huge buck walking around too and looked like coyote tracks in our front yard. I love the new place. Love the quiet but not loving the tons of ticks. Oh haven't spoke to my mom since Aaron was born. She called n left a vm but it was more of a guilt trip than an apology. She's been bugging my gma to find out info. (Shrug) Idc. She gave me my own phone plan so not on hers anymore- really have nothing tied to her now. I feel bad but then I don't. My life is less drama w.o her in it. And I'm so busy w everything I barely think of her anymore. So that's my long update.

Hahah, I say the same thing about Layla.. SO's gonna catch a charge having her as a daughter. And yeah, maybe I'll try the blanket, SO's mom said she loves the swing she got her so hopefully she likes the one we have. And jeeze, Aaron would make Layla look like a shrimp hahah she's still in size one diapers and still in the 0-3 month clothes (and they're kinda baggy on her, too). At her one month checkup she weighed 9 pounds 4 ounces (was 7 lb. 11 oz. at birth), I have no idea how much she weighs now because we don't have a scale or anything, but her two month checkup is on the 31st. She hasn't really started responding to us yet.. like she doesn't smile back at us if we smile at her. Sometimes she will, but I think it's just coincidence. And she doesn't really grab at things. Every time I lay her on her play mat she starts crying, but I have a toy hanging from her carseat and I haven't seen her grab for it yet. :? Should I be concerned..? And should I start laying her on her tummy..? She's definitely gained some neck muscles, but I thought tummy time shouldn't start until about two months? I guess it'd be okay if I was there watching her. I'm so worried about how Layla's progressing.. I mean, not as of right now, I'm just scared she's not going to develop as well as other babies her age. I don't know why.. I guess because of everything that went wrong with my last pregnancy, I just find it hard to believe I made a perfectly healthy baby. It's like I'm just waiting for something to go wrong. :?

I start tummy time in the hosp so idk bout a 2 month wait thing. plus all my kids have slept on their bellies instead of their back from day 1 too. I've never really parented by the "book" it's all trial and error and judgment calls IMO. I like my swing for aaron bc it does recline a little, would love it more if it had a 5 point harness like dd1s did. he mostly uses his bouncey chair though. he slept in that for a month. I wouldn't worry too much about Layla's development now or as she ages. I don't mean this disrespectfully but Layla may develop on her own schedule bc she's an "only" which is perfectly normal for her. dd2 crawled at 4 months and walked at 8mnths and used the potty at 1yr bc she had an older sister she was trying to keep up with. I'm expecting aaron to be same paced as dd2 or faster bc of having 2 older siblings to wanna keep up with. make sense? And you're not alone. I still keep wondering if something will "go wrong" with aaron. I've been dreaming of waking up to find him dead in his crib or something equally horrifying. Hubby forgot how small he was a few weeks ago and outta habit picked up him and threw him in the air. I had a full blown panic attack. The next 48hrs I watched monster like a hawk! I was freaking the f out about SBS. Hubby immediately realized his mistake and felt like crap for it too. I didn't yell at him, his guilt was punishment enough and it was a complete accident, but yeah I worry still. As a parent, that worry never seems to go away so yeah you're not alone and I'm pretty sure it's normal behavior. Given what you've gone thru before, I'd almost expect it. Hey that's not a bad thing! Layla may end up being skinny, tall, and a total knockout! Dd1 was like that- wore NB clothes for 3 months. She's 4 now (March) and still wears 4t/4-5 extra small in children's bc she's got a flat butt, tall, and stick thin. Her sis is 2 (Jan) and still fits in 18mnth stuff bc she's got short stocky legs, but 2t-3t shirts for her buddha belly :) Is anyone else's dd playing with dolls like u take care of the baby? dd1 has become obsessed with her baby dolls now. she puts them in the stroller for a "walk", changes it's diaper, feeds it (to her breast lol), burps it, tucks it in, sings lullabys. She has said she wants to be a "mama" when she grows up and "have babies, lots of babies". Her and a friend's kid were playing mom and baby, and my dd1 said "wahhh I'm hungry mama feed me" and she lifted the little girls shirt up. My friend about had a heart attack. Her kids didn't know about bfing (8 and 10 yrs old) until they met me and the mom had to explain what I was doing with Aaron lol. oops. Then her little girl pretended to "push out" the baby.... I thought my friend was gonna croak on my couch. I was snickering at the creativity of the girls, but my friend was freaking. She didn't know her kid knew where babies come from. Both of my girls do so it was awkward.

Oh alright. I wouldn't want Layla sleeping on her stomach cuz even when she's just on my shoulder sometimes she'll press her face into my shirt and not even try to move. SO freaks out thinking she's going to suffocate, I'd be too scared of her doing that in her crib and not getting any air. :? But when she's on my chest she lifts her head up and looks around. I think I'll try laying her on her tummy when I get home today, just to see what she does. And no offense taken, I know kids with older siblings usually develop faster, I'm just overly cautious I guess lol. I told myself I wasn't going to compare her to other kids and just let her develop at her own pace, but it looks like I'm not sticking to it. I guess I gotta work on that because I know all kids are different. Sounds like hubby has gotten used to having the older kids around and needs to snap back into newborn mode. At least he knew he messed up and he didn't drop him or anything. And if Layla's anything like me, yeah, she'll be long and thin. I was always the tallest in my classes, I'm 5'6" now which I still think is pretty tall for a girl. :P
And one of my friends' daughters does that, holds her babydolls up to her chest hahah, it's too cute. :D
here's some pics as promised:can you see the chopper?
Here are some pictures of Kadee...she'll be 7 weeks tomorrow!
Awe love those babies!!! They are adorable!!
Awww I love the monkey hat! It looks like your girls just love him! :D Do they help you take care of him? My sister is finally getting used to not being the baby anymore, she really seems to love Layla these days and SO's youngest nephew adores her. He's always trying to feed her, change her diaper, play with her, it's too cute. :) And I love your family picture! Me and SO need to get a professional one one of these days. I can't really see the chopper shape in the birthmark for some reason, though.. :?
Danielle, I LOVE the name Jamison, it's SO's middle name (but it's spelled Jameson) and if Layla ended up being a boy, it would have been the middle name we chose (it would have been Ryder Jameson). You can definitely tell they're siblings, they look exactly alike!
Meggo, I have the exact same onesie for Layla (the yellow one). It's one of my favorites (Target has the CUTEST onesies). :D I love the bows too, I don't have any for her yet, I'm afraid she'd be too uncomfortable lol. She looks about Layla's size, long and skinny just like her. I'm at work right now and my supervisor saw me looking at your pictures and she freaked and was like, "AWWW SHE'S SSSOOO CUTE!!!!!!" At first she thought it was Layla, then was like, "No.. that's not your baby.." hahah, I'm happy she noticed. :P
I'm seeing all of your babies in their bouncers and swings and I'm jealous! I wish Layla would stay in hers. She loves the one at SO's mom's, but she doesn't seem to like the bouncer we have. Yesterday I put her down on her play gym and she kinda looked around for a few minutes and got a little startled when one of the toys played music, then she started getting fussy. I also tried giving her some tummy time yesterday and she seemed to be struggling with it. She has a harder time lifting her head when she's flat on her belly opposed to laying at an angle on my chest. And I actually read that tummy time isn't supposed to start until four months, but I'm gonna try to do a little bit every day to strengthen those neck muscles!

4 months?!? Holy crap that's late IMO. Dd2 was crawling at 4 months lol jeeze. Yep both girls help and they fight over wanting to hold him. Dd1 can get him to stop crying the second she starts singing to him. She makes up the song as she goes complete w stuttering but it's so darn cute! Dd2 I thought would be super jealous bc she's so much like hubby's brother personality wise (he purposefully dropped hubby on his head as a baby more than once bc of it) but so far she thinks he's a living doll. Good and bad bc she's rough w him at times but she's never been gentle w any of our pets so idk if it'll change. I have to watch dd1 bc she's always sneaking n trying to pick him up n he's too heavy for her. I esp love watching hubby w Aaron. His eyes light up differently than w the dds. Yeah his birthmark looks like a motorcycle. If u look u can see the front wheel shape n a star in the middle of it for the spokes, then low handle bars, and a back tire. So weird. N it's dark n huge bout 2 inches long n right on his thigh like BAM! Here I am u cannot help but notice me! It honestly looks like the worst burn blister ever bc it's raised up too but no heat coming off it n doesn't hurt him. Fades for a sec when u touch it like a burst blood vessel? does then pops right back. Annnd it looks like he has red hair :) :) :) I hope it stays this color n he ends up w blue/green eyes like his daddy!!

Yeah, even I thought that was kinda late lol. Can't they like sit up on their own around 5ish months? Maybe not. :? But yeah, I'm not waiting til then to do the tummy time hahah. That's too cute that she sings to him hahah, Layla calms down when SO sings to her, but he only sings this one song that his sister and her hubby made together (they've got a band together). Actually, you should look it up! Apparently her hubby produces these songs in certain frequencies that are supposed to be calming or something like that.. he explained it to me once but it was too much to remember lol. They're kinda like an indie band, you can look them up on soundcloud.com and search Noble Robot, the song's called 'Islands.' I love it and apparently Layla does too. :)
I kinda got off topic there hahah, but I'm at work right now and our computers kinda suck, but I made the screen brighter and I can see the chopper shape now, that's awesome! Hahah. Layla doesn't have any birth marks that I've noticed yet. Did you know apparently kids can have birth marks in their hair? I used to babysit a girl who had long, straight, silky blonde hair but there was this one fuzzy patch of hair on the top of her head, apparently it was her birth mark, her parents said it had always been like that lol. And I can definitely see see the strawberry blonde hair in the pic where he's on his belly with the music notes behind him. Too cute! It looks like your hubby has red hair..? So maybe he'll look just like his daddy. :) Layla's hair is a kinda redish-brown like mine and SO's. I was surprised she wasn't blonde because him and I were both bleach blonde babies. I'm also wondering if she's going to have curls or not.. SO had curly hair as a kid but it's straight now, I had straight hair as a kid but it's curly now.. so it could go either way lol.
