Or even scooting across the floor on their bellies? Brynn just turned 4 months old and just started scooting forward on her belly to get things that are out of reach in front of her. She does a sort of army crawl. How old were your kids when they started doing this? Its been so long since my older girls were babies I can't remember when they started doing this... is it super early or around the right time? Roughly how long from this phase was it until your little one started full out crawling?
She can sit up unassisted for a while too until she gets too excited about it and flings herself backwards or to the side lol.
Mine was a late crawler. 10 months. He started walking at 12 months on the dot though
Scooting around 3:4 months, crawling at 6.

My oldest was able to stand up on her own and walk at 7-9 months old but chickened out for some reason and decided to put it on hold until she was almost a year old. My second daughter was a late walker and didn't start walking until she was around 14 months old (even though she was easily cruising tge furniture at 6 months old lol). It will be interesting to see when Brynn decides to walk.

Awesome :) it seems within the next month or two is the average so far. I'm excited.
Scooting and army crawl at 4 months. She started real crawling at the end of 5 months. She was climbing and pulling up at 6 months and took her first steps at 9 months, but fell and busted her mouth. :( She was afraid after that and didn't try again until she was 11 months old.

She sounds like Sophia. She was the same way....
mine starting scooting end of 3 months or so. crawling end of 4 months/beginning of 5 months. but hes a lazy crawler. LAZY. he crawls to get to what he wants then lays down lol.
My oldest mainly rolled until like 7-8months. But she was damned good at it.
My youngest (born a day before Brynn!) can move herself in a circle and roll from tummy to back, but thats about it. She would rather walk if she could figure that out, haha. She also sits up really well supported, but I'm too nervous to try her unsuported, hah.
I have a question...I figured I'd ask here instead of a new thread since it's kind of relevant. My niece will be one next month & still hasn't started crawling yet. Not even interested in standing up either. Is that something to be concerned about? Could it be because my sister in law carries her around so much?
<blockquote><b>Quoting Stinky Face's Mommy:</b>" lol! Too cute! I never crawled. My grandmother said I would roll and then lay there. LOL!"</blockquote>
I think I remember asyia being a roller. If I remember correctly she didn't start crawling until closer to 9 months old (7 1/2 months adjusted)
