From what I read of previous threads, it doesn't sound like her family is willing to help with the child. Not sure if that's changed since she wrote those threads though.

I almost agree here, except I am 100% pro-abortion when it comes to little girls having babies. I think OP is being ridiculously selfish (as i would expect a 14 year old to be) and her family and this baby are going to suffer because of it. And she doesn't even care! She's just keeping the baby because that's what she wants to do, regardless of what kind of life she knows she can't give it and how greatly this will effect her family. So selfish.

How am I being selfish, I really dont wanna abort my baby... thats literally killing a life and me and my family did have a meeting for adoption but me and my bf decided to keep OUR responsibility, Ive been looking for jobs but i cant because I have to keep my mind on school that i am planning to finish, the only way i can get a few cash is babysitting my cousins which i save up... My Mother in Law WANTED to help so she bought the crib as a surprise gift for the baby. Now tell me how is that being selfish ? I know it my responsibility and im trying really hard I dont even do the things i used to because i know i am going to be a mother soon and i need to change .

For one your boyfriends mom is not your mother in law. You are 14 and you should be calling her Mrs. So&So.

For two, you are being selfish because you can NOT provide for that baby at all. Babysitting can not buy a new box of diapers a week, or wipes, formula (if your not breastfeeding) babies go through clothes like no other. How are you going to pay for all of the babies needs?

Lets be logical here, are you really killing a life? Can the fetus survive outside the womb with no help?

Then ask it?

you need a weekly or biweekly income to take care of a child.

:/ why would you have to do that?

If you decide to keep this baby, please do some research and consider taking some parenting classes. Good luck.

Depends on how fast your baby grows.
My daughter grew slow she was in 12mo clothing for like 8 months.
my son grew a lot faster and we had to buy him bigger clothes every few months.

...and please dont think that once your kid is out of diapers and eating regular food that it gets any cheaper - if anything, it gets MORE expensive. School fees, medicine, school activities, allowance, clothes, shoes every f**king month...birthday parties, birthday gifts for friends, trips, school supplies....its never ending.
