Just having a moan really. Whenever my lg is restless or upset it will take me ages to comfort her until she calms down or goes to sleep. But when SO picks her up she is happy straight away and quite content just to lay in his lap. I'm trying not to get upset about it because I know she can sense when I'm stressed out but I just feel like I'm doing something wrong that's making her uncomfortable with me. It seems unfair that I'm the one that feeds/changes/bathes/soothes her 24/7 yet she seems to have a better bond with SO -.- what can I do?
watch happiest baby on the block.... no lie
it is a godsend and will teach you to confidently soothe babies
ehh, I think you're reading too much into it. :)
You're not doing anything wrong - she knows you're mommy and she loves you.
Okay thanks, is that a DVD or what lol? Eh, I'll google it...
Quoting loser mom:
I hope you're right aha :)
Every kid is different. My oldest is a total daddys girl. I was a SAHM and she always wanted daddy. I used to think it had something to do with missing him. My youngest totally attached to mommy. She can be 100% content with me I had her to daddy and she screams and screams until I take her back. She is almost 10 months old and starting to grow out of it. Babies feed off your emotions so try not to stress. If she is having a really bad meltdown maybe wear a shirt that smells like daddy or something.
I didn't think of that, maybe it is to do with the fact she doesn't get to see him so much. And thanks for the shirt idea, I will try this :)
