There's my beautiful princess, who just turned 4, but she still doesn't have hair!! I have never cut it either...
She was diagnosed with eczema when she was around 1, and about a year ago I noticed she had scaley spots on her scalp and the doc said to use T-sal shampoo which controls it.. but I can't help but think something is wrong with my babygirl :(
Is there anyone who has a child with a flaky scalp and hard to grow hair?
Or just hard to grow hair for that matter?
Uh...I see plenty of hair on her head
I am so confused. I see so much hair on that child's head.

My niece is 4 and her hair just started going out of no where this year. She was practically bald up until like a yar ago lol
My sister is 17 and has never been able to grow her hair past her chin! She has gotten trims, but her hair gets brittle and breaks at the ends, Ive always thought it was kind of strange.
this is just like a old wives tales but what they did was shave off the babies hair after they are one. so it can grow back faster. they did this to me  but i thinks she has plenty of hair have you tried always leaving her hair in a pony tails that makes it grow also.
Mine was like that..didnt grow till I was about 6. Now its so darn long and thick I have to trim it every 6 weeks. dont worry. Plus thats a lot of hair she has. Just not long. and thats ok. It will grow.
Her hair is probably getting thicker instead of longer...it will get long in due time.
Is she bald in the back? It looks like she has hair.

It's so thin ! I know she has hair, but not like other little girls.
Quoting Jas ♥:" A healthy scalp is essential to healthy growing hair so its possible that her eczema could be slowing things down. Hair growth is also genetic."
This. Exactly what my initial thoughts were.
I wouldn't be worried. Some people just have hair that grows slowly. She looks like a healthy little girl.
Here's her about a year and a half ago

she doesn't look bald, so she does have hair.
I think if you really are concerned the dr. is missing something, you need to ask your dr.
Also, if she gets outbreaks in other spots, you should try Lush cosmetics dream cream and dream shower smoothie. It a tub each will last you a year and will clear up spots quicker and safer than traditional eczema medicine. I've had it since HS and rarely anything worked w/out steroids until I found Lush.
Quoting Jas ♥:" Don't compare her. :?"
Every child is different!
DS is only a year old but he was bald for 6 months. Whereas my DD was born with a full head of hair and her hair is now down the middle of her back at 2 years old...
