Gonna roast a whole chicken for dinner. I usually stuff it with a lemon, some garlic, and onion. But DH says he doesn't wanna stuff it this time. So yeah, can you roast it without putting anything in the cavity?

I peel an apple and put it in, so that it doesn't dry out too much, but i don't thinkyou HAVE to stuff it.

It's not stuffing, lol. It's just to give it more flavor and moisture. We don't eat the lemon and that stuff afterward.

I usually just shove a whole onion up on in there and it's good to go
