I don't agree.
Though, I admit, I was soooo ready to have LO and be done being pregnant, I would have jumped at the chance.
Luckily, my OB never even mentioned it, he's very known for not inducing, besides medical reasons. Whereas a lot of OBs in my area induce to fit their personal schedule. Just one of the reasons I loved my OB and will be using him again.:)

As long as your full term like 40+ weeks I don't see the issue.

My bad. Will read now.

It wasn't my intention to start shit with anyone. I've been using this website long enough to know better than that. I guess I didn't think it through.

I was in latent labor for five days, only got to three cm when my midwife broke my waters.. was wondering if that counted lol I was 40w6d and had back labor for a full five days before I was in actual labor. It sucked.

No, I don't think people should be induced because they feel fat or uncomfortable. It's part of being pregnant

Nay.

But not my body so I really don't care. People are gonna do what they want no matter what, so no need in wasting my breath.

Eh. With my first I went 5 days overdue, and my daughter was a little on the bigger side, and had to be checked out by the NICU right after she was born because she pooped in the womb before she could be born (I had an induction). With my second I was induced 3 days before my due date, everything went fine. I think depending on previous births, I wouldn't see a problem with it.

And when I went in to be induced with my second, I was at 5-6 cm when I got there anyways lol. So I just went forward with the induction, I would have probably had her that day anyways.

I was induced at 39w 6d, given the same situation I'd do it again. Not that I wanted to be induced but SO was going to be gone for 15+ hours the entire week I was due, and I had no family members or friends that I could count on to help me

I think whatever the woman and her doctor decide is fine. Not my business.

It's not my place to say. I don't have a problem with it. They would be the ones having to deal with health problems that come along with preemies. Not me ;D
