So you've come to her rescue? She came on this post not to reply to the op, but to attack another member. She deserves what she gets. And of she's so able, why are you taking up for her?

I am not taking up for her, she isn't a friend of mine if thats what you are thinking, that she ganged up all her friends on you. I don't necessarily like her, but I don't necessarily dislike her either, I have never had a problem with her.

Her second and third posts were blatantly attacking me, and saying that SAHMs just sit on their ass all day. Did you miss those comments?

I just have to say that I am really happy I had my son naturally and that he was born healthy. I really really did not want to be induced. I hope things turn out okay OP...

Have fun with your induction. I wish someone would have told me the risks, because my stupid 21 year old ass almost buried my son from getting induced.

After sifting through all that stupid c**t/troll/ bash bash bash drama.. this comment made me want to cry :( I'm sorry you went through that.

I was just watching "Born in America" yesterday and really SHOULDN'T have.. I'm so scared now. I was induced with my first (medically due to pre-e), then the labour was so intense I had an epidural, then the epidural slowed down the labour so I had a cesearian under the pretense "failure to progress". The movie documents how this is often the case with inductions, but that the doctors like it that way because they'd rather induce and cut it out within hours than be there all night waiting for baby to come out naturally.

So what we have is a bunch of doctors recommending inductions and elective c-sections even with the increased risks, simply because it's more convenient (sound familiar to some of the pro-posters on here? I'm in pain, get it out=convenient, want my mom there=convenient)

Now, my doctors told me that I will have a c-section because of my "failure to progress" and after watching that all I can think is YEAH, I failed to progress because of an epidural, that I got because of an induction.. I said, well maybe we should just try? Doctor says, your chances are pretty low, don't want to put baby in distress. How do you trust doctors though when they're all about convenience?

They're scheduling my c-section date apt an apt on Nov 28 and I don't know now whether they're right and this is best for my baby or if I should just flat out refuse. They can't tie me to an operating table.

I'm so sorry you're in that fucked up situation :( I really hope your birth goes smoothly. Good luck.

Thanks :) I've been weighting the pros and cons of trying the VBAC and just getting the c-section pretty much since I found out I was pregnant. I'm scared to and scared not to, so I'm just going to have the c-section on the sole basis that I know what to expect and I'll keep my fingers crossed that none of the terrible risks associated with it happen..
