My mom keeps my girls two Friday nights a month. I NEED that time or I will fall apart.

Quoting Chroma Hex [+1]:" ...let your baby go for the night with a family member so you can have a break? If so, how often? I ... [snip!] ... need to feel guilty. Bleh. Are there mommies here that needed extra help like me? Did anyone try to make you feel bad for it?"

oh what the hell ever..
Everyone needs a break, especially single moms.
I've left my two year old over night with my mom, sister and my ex mother in law (i live with her though)..
If you trust them, i dont think theres a problem with it..

I usually bring her over right before bed and pick her up in the AM..

EVERYONE deserves a break.. that doesnt make you 'less' of a mom.

little foot has never gone to her dads nor has he even\r been alone with her

but ive let her have sleepovers with her grandparents since she was 3 months old.. it started out as an all day.. then it went to an over night.. the longest shes been with them is 5 days.. i think she was a year and a half.. with her being school age.. about once a month they will get her friday afternoon when shes out of school and bring her back sunday.. then she will do either a friday night or sat night on another weekend
during spring break and xmas breat they will get her for like 3 days.. they get her easter night for easter dinner.. then during xmas they get her for like the 20th-morning of the 24th.. but thats because they want time with thier granddaughter regardless how screwed up thier son is.. my fam mosty times only want her for an hour or two here and there lol..

Hi there,
My name is Loryn, I am a Casting Producer with Doron Ofir Casting and we are currently casting a documentary series revolving around the lives of five to eight FABULOUS pregnant women in the city! We are looking to show pregnancy at its best and fiercest, proving preggos CAN STILL live it up! While we are searching for single pregnant women over 24 years old, with BIG personalities who are also outgoing and know how to have fun.... we DO want these women to be professionals above all! Elite business women who are independent and self sufficient. Honestly, think Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City-- and pregnant!

I hope you are able to forward this information to those interested, who also fit the bill. Here are the qualifications:

No more than 5 months pregnant
Working / business woman

I truly appreciate your consideration and assistance, hope to hear from you soon! I can be reached at
