Quoting VERONICA. MOM OF 6:" trust me . i feel you but think about it, anybody who is not a mother is only gonna see a female with ... [snip!] ... have just flashed somebody...most likely a minor because they will not stop lookin simply because the don't understand it yet"

Before I had a child, I wasn't a mother and I was never offended by a woman nursing her child, in fact, I thought it was a beautiful thing.

I see girls prancing around in trashy outfits all the time with their b**bs half out and their asses hanging out the bottom of their skirts or shirts, but me feeding my child is offensive? There's something wrong with that picture.

And even if LO rips her head back, her head is still covering my n****e unless someone is staring from the perfect angle.

I duck off but it's because I'm not comfortable. I admire women who are brave enough to do it anywhere and I hope I grow some balls before mine is old enough to question why we hide to nurse. It should be a totally normal thing.

Quoting VERONICA. MOM OF 6:" I enjoy the bond and lookin at my babies too but there is appropriate times for it. It sucks but we got to respect others."

What are these appropriate times? Appropriate times for me are when my son is hungry. I'm not going to make him starve because I'm in a public place.
And what about the respect for the nursing mother?

i think it's perfectly normal. babies gotta eat too! i personally would use a cover though if i were in public. i'd rather strangers not see "me"... ;) thats for the hubby and baby only lol.

oh no you got me wrong...feed baby in public when hungry but I think it is respectful to cover...bonding by lookin at baby and baby lookin at mommy should wait for private feedings is what i was saying... or a mom can get the cover i get, where you can see baby through the top and baby can see mom but still be covered

Either way it is bf and it is best for baby. You can do it your way and I will do it mine. :) Luckily my state protects my rights to be able to bf the way my babies prefer. Although I will admit with baby wearing there isn't much possibility they can see anything. I just wouldn't hold back if I didn't have something to cover or I wasn't baby wearing. But if someone is uncomfortable feeding and went to someplace private that is their choice. Everyone does it differently.

Moby Wraps, although I made my own. I found ways to tie it so you can bf in it. Which in that case someone would seriously have to be looking to see something. lol

I'm ecstatic to be a C right now, I'll be right back to not even filling out an A when breast feeding is over. :( Sad day. President of the itty bitty titty committee.

Just google ways to wrap while bf. I love it because I can clean and things deal with my other three and not be holding him. Well this one isn't here so with my third I started it and I had two very fast toddlers to chase. lol But it really covers you well. This time around when this one is born I have a 9, 6 and 5 yo so they are older and independent but hey I don't want to be stuck sitting there nursing, I like to run around and play. :)
