I started my weightloss journey at 210 in april of 2011, Got pregnant gave birth in march 2012 and started back on it one thing I found helpful is Small goals I have set goals for myself like so: *goes and looks at goal book* I started at 185 in may I wanted to be 175 in august (I was 170 by august) I wanted to be 155 by october and im already 155 my next goal is 145 by halloween and 135 by christmas. Good luck mama! It can be done :)

YAY! finally figured out how to lose some weight!!!
i started counting calories last November with my fitness pal. It told me i need 1200 calories a day to lose weight. well I was just eating normally for 2 weeks and adding on my counter everything that went into my mouth. Just to see how much i was taking in. I was surprised to find that my calorie intake was from 1000 to 1300/day There was no reason why i shouldnt be losing then. So i gave up on counting, and got discouraged because i couldnt lose the weight and it kept packing on, and doctors didnt know why.
So, i changed my diet a bit, back to what it was before i had DD and got to busy to cook. instead of eating out, and eating crap for dinner i started cooking at home again. (all vegetarian and nothing fried) But this didnt help either. I started gaining slowly. discouraged again i gave up on weight loss. Months later i started counting calories again (just to see). turns out my at home meals were putting me at 1000 calories or less a day. so i should have been losing. (according to a weightloss specialist) but i wasnt. i was stuck at 249, and a few weeks later i was up to 251. on monday i started drinking coffee instead of eating breakfast. I was never a fan of breakfast anyways. And i like my coffee FAT. cream, sugar, syrup, the works! the amount of calories in my coffee is the same as my breakfast. I lost 4 lbs this week :lol: I hope it keeps coming off! i need to lose this weight so i can keep up with my kids.
