Yes the ambulance is coming.

Idk but I've heard from my child's pedi that it's better for them to sleep off a concussion but her old pediatrician said not to let her fall asleep. It's so confusing. But the thing is, yes I can't wake her up but I can at least get her to open her eyes for a second and fight me. And she was talking in her sleep a bit ago saying "Mommy kiss it" I don't think that counts as listlessness but still getting her checked.

I've always heard that you should stay awake/keep the person awake for at least an hour after a head injury. Regardless, if your child isn't waking up, you need to get them seen immediately. And if she's opening her eyes and talking to you, that counts as waking her up, even though you shouldn't have let her fall asleep in the first place....

This. You never ever let some one sleep with a concussion

We still haven't seen the doctor. We've been here for a while and all they've done so far is ask like the normal questions about allergies and past medical conditions. The good thing is she is up playing and walking around now. We're mainly worried about her nose now.

They're about to do an X-ray because she is acting pretty normal now. They think she had a mild concussion. The only thing that really seems to be abnormal right now is her nose being slightly crooked and she is a little less intelligible than she was before (meaning she isn't speaking clearly).

And her nose isn't broken! I'm happy about that. I just have to buy an ice pack to put on her nose to keep it from staying swelled.

Thanks for the concern.

Yes she's okay. They came in the room and told me to watch the right side of her nose and if it looks crooked to bring her back and they would have to do a CT scan. They just didn't want to expose her to that much radiation if they didn't have too last night.

I'm hoping to avoid a ct scan until she is tested for her seizures though cause I don't want her getting one twice.
