Quoting Redneck mamma:" Then I have been extremely misinformed... But she is so damn skinny it's sickening..."

think about it, for the first 8 weeks the baby is like the size of a grain of rice or smaller, that is not going to make that much of an impact. Once they start to grow then yes it is rapidly obvious that it is more than multiples but until around 10-12 weeks it wouldn't be immediately obvious which were carrying multiples and which are singletons.

Quoting Devil's Advocate:" Wow. This thread was such a f**king joke. A lot of you should be ashamed."

Ashamed? I'm most definitely not.

Do I believe this girl is pregnant with triplets? No, I do not.

But I did give her my honest advice, it was in a joking manner but my advice for a teen pregnant with triplets would be to abort. Teenagers are already at risk for complications, add a multiple pregnancy on top of that and it could be very difficult and dangerous for both her and her babies. Then the babies are born and a teenager is trying to go to school while supporting and caring for not only one but 3 babies who on top of being regular demanding babies (x3) they may possibly have special needs associated with being a multiple and/ or having a difficult pregnancy.

You said it to be in on the joke, to get a pat on the back from the rest of the idiots in here. Well, well done you are now queen of the idiot fuckers. I hope one day you need real advice and support and are answered with the same treatment this girl got, oh and before you throw your rebuff, of how you think this girl is fake and blah blah blah, this site is widely available on google, one day a real girl is going to find out she is pregnant with triplets and she is going to search for support and advice and people to connect with and she will be met with your idiot comment, lets just hope that if it is ever your daughter she receives more compassion.

I thought that triplets couldn't be conceived naturally? I am most likely wrong, but it's just what I thought.

Anyways OP, good luck. If you are pregnant with triplets you should definitely look into a lot of the programs your city has to offer for teen parents. There is a lot out there you just have to search. You'll need all the help you can get. Hell even if you are only carrying one baby, look into the programs offered to help you.

I said it because I think it's funny, not necessarily funny to everyone else. I even thought I'd get some remarks about my comment being messed up.
I don't aim to be the queen of anything and I sure as hell don't mince my words due to the off chance that SOMEDAY, SOMEWHERE there MIGHT be a teen pregnant with triplets that will need HELP. That's the stupidiest shit I've ever heard.

You do realize that there is only a 1 in 8,100 chance of having natural triplets? This is reduced even further for a teenager, as older women and women with 4 or more pregnancies are 10-15x more likely to have multiples than younger, first time moms.

Deductive reasoning... you should use it sometime.

There has been a case of 6 babies being conceived naturally, it is rare but it does happen.

Oh okay! I just always thought anything more than twins was IVF. I don't know why, just never occurred to me that women can naturally have a litter.

Actually those results are skewed, the reason it states older mums is because of IVF, not because of natural, the fact is younger women are more likely to naturally conceive multiples. And yes I know the odds, there is a long list of multiples within my family, I was a twin but my mother miscarried the other one and thus only I made it to term, she was 17 at the time, my cousin has healthy triplets, she was 20 when she conceived, 2 of them are identical and one fraternal, my other cousin has 2 sets of identical twins, the first being conceived when she was 17 and that is just my generation, the list of multiple births within side of the family can be traced back 4 generations and so far I am the only female within my family not to have had a multiple pregnancy, but out of my many pregnancies and 4 children that have resulted none have been a multiple.

Yeah it is rare and most of the time now people will consider selective abortions to diminish the number because of the inherent dangers, to mother and babies.

Wrong-o brainiac.
Older woman have a natural higher incidence of mulitiple births, as do taller women, women of African descent and those with a family history of natural fraternal multiples.

No she wouldn't. Even with three the babies are still the size of peas. I knew someone who had quads and she still didn't start showing until the second tri.

Ok so how do you not know she is not a female with a history of multiples and thus higher than average chance of carrying multiples? You jumped down this route and then debunk your own logic by showing instances where it is of higher likelihood. And even if she were not it still happens, that is why it is a 1 in XXXX chance, because for every xxxx number of pregnancies 1 will be a multiple, what was the statistic 1 in 8000 and something, do you know how many women in the world get pregnant every single day? So by that logic there are a few who will get pregnant with multiples. But anyway thi sis in danger of becoming a debate and that is not what you are here for is it sugar tits, you're here to call names and be obnoxious and you do it so very well, so do continue with your cliqued behaviour.

I wouldn't be discussing the plausibility of this situation if I wasn't here to debate, dust ruffle.

That's a new one.. and if you were here to debate you wouldn't be throwing around insults (though I use the term loosely, dust ruffle is hardly insulting, though nor is it flattering). You wouldn't be making light of abortion and just all around generally being a bit of a twit, oh and biggest hint that you are not here to debate that this is not now nor was it posted originally posted in D&D. If you were here to debate that is where you would be, though I doubt you do quite so well in there because rarely does anyone get patted on the back for being an idiot in D&D the way one does in TDC.
