They didn't start fitting my oldest until around 11 months and my youngest just started fitting them on the smallest setting at 6 months (his legs are a little chunkier). I like them fine once they started fitting.

Oh ok haha. Scarlytt has on a dipe similar to alva and it fits ok. Sometimes it's a little big on her legs and it looks bulky. But it works. She doesn't even have to use the crossover tabs.

you can get the capris as seconds from the swaddlebees website. I dunno about second hand, though.

Sad. I got my new double stroller and it won't fit through the opening of my trunk. DF told me to send it back if it won't fit in my car. Well, with the exception of a super cheapo umbrella stroller none of them will fit in my car and we need a double stroller, so I guess it goes in his car or for walks and I have to fight fight with a single stroller, a leash, and wearing the other one. This will dramatically cut down in my shopping. LOL

I have some ALva's that are huge. But not all are. A lot of mine are normal sized, then I have some that run smaller

Same here. The one I have without a tag is smaller. But the rest with tags were HUGE on K.

For those who have cloth diapered a newb, what did you use? Why did you like it? And how big of a stash did you have?

I'm 18 weeks with number 2 so just curious. :) Gotta start planning.

I used prefolds and fitteds with covers.
I had 18 prefolds and 12 fitteds (gmd workhorse fitteds). The fitted/cover combo is my favorite. I breastfeed and it caught BM poo-splosions amazingly. And with as many changes there is a day it was so much easier to change inners out.
I had too many covers. Like 10 cuz I got excited lol. But you'd only need like 4 if washing every other day.
