Don't mind my funk-trunk-ass. I was bewildered and excited all while still being like half asleep
I fell asleep Friday night at like 10.
I was asleep on the couch, but Mikey (Mike Tyson, my cat) was meowing so he continued to do so until I woke up. Sitting up, rubbing my eyes, I realize he is meowing because he has brought me something. He dropped it into my hands, and at first I thought it was a mole or something...because it was so small. I looked more closely, and realized THIS IS A BABY BUNNY! Its eyes weren't even open yet!
He had to of been only a few days old. So I grabbed my laptop to do some research, and I literally turn around and Mikey has ANOTHER bunny! Again, a newbie. What the hell Mikey...I held them tightly and closely so they wouldn't
get cold. Their fur wasn't even furry yet!
I read on the internet that the chance of these babies surviving away from their mother at such a young age was pretty slim. "SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!" Here comes Mikey with bunny number 3. "Alright..." I say to myself; "This has
got to stop, otherwise I'm going to be stuck with 8 of these little suckers."
I heard the dog door swinging back and forth, indicating that Mikey was going outside again to bring me more bunnies.
I took the bunnies and followed him around to the front yard, where he was sticking his fat head into a hole in the ground, ready to pull another baby out of the den. I shooed him away, put the bunnies back in the den, covered them with the fur
their mom had shed (to keep them warm while she is away) and fixed the grass around the den. I went out this morning and she had *thankfully* moved the den somewhere safer.
Anyway, thought that was a pretty neat story. Mikey has been bringing me an unharmed baby bunny at least 2-3 times a week. I took a picture I took of the first 2 babies he brought me. They look like little rats!
Hope I entertained you :)
aww they are so little! that's cute, your cat was probably concerned that these poor babies were all alone without a mommy haha
Omg so cute!!!
All my cat does is bring in live mice and I have to chase it around the house :(
Quoting ABCDE:" aww they are so little! that's cute, your cat was probably concerned that these poor babies were all alone without a mommy haha"
Nah...he is a fat, lazy-ass individual...hahaha he does this a few times a week. He catches them and just brings them to me. He is trying to make up for the fact that he is to fat and slow to catch a mouse

Pahaha sorry I couldn't resist the funk trunk whatever the f**k.
Quoting **milfshake**:" Please don't ruin my thread by bringing up that trash <3 "
pfft lucky, when I had a cat all she brought me were dead birds she hid under my covers
omg that is too cute.
oh my god, this is the cutest story i have ever heard!! awwwwwwww! :D!!
wow, your cat must really love you. animals such as dogs and cats will bring "gifts" to there owners to show them how much they respect them.. although these gifts are always other animals dead or alive... lol. your cat is showing great respect for you.
Quoting BTJ&A:" pfft lucky, when I had a cat all she brought me were dead birds she hid under my covers "
Mikey was a stray, his previous owner declawed him.
But the way he was carrying the babies was like...how a lioness carries her cubs
"HERPADERP MOM...HERES SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU HAPPPPPYYYY!!!"
In the past 2 weeks, he has brought me like 6 baby bunnies.
