i was a few weeks pregnant when i got my tattoo...i didn't find out i was prego until i was 3 months though. if i would've known about being pregnant i wouldn't have gotten the tattoo...but there was no problems? still a risky thing to do knowingly....
This just seemed oh so appropriate for this thread:

So riddle me this batman... It's OK to smoke, drink and get tattoos but it's NOT ok to get on anti-depressants that you CLAIM will make the baby addicted too? I see NO logic in this...

Wow..this was entertaining! She does have some stories! :)
Also OP, I hate to point this out, but...
You claim it says in the bible to honor your spouse before your children? I've never seen that verse....However, it does say not to get tattoos. Just saying...
...but I am sure you know that already.

its in the quran i believe the islamic holy book. i mean after all if their daughter was raped the rapist either gets to marry the girl or her parents have her stoned to death....I never read the book but did hear about it.
Everyone is missing that you aren't going to convince her that she is harming her baby because she doesn't give a f**k about her child. She doesn't care if she comes out not being able to breath, sick, possibley having infections and with development issues. She's gonna have her fun and leave her poor husband and old parents to wipe the daughter ass for the next 30years.
Op you make me sick!
f a tattoo shop does a tattoo on a pregnant woman they could lose their license. I had a friend who wanted to get one while pregnant and they didn't believe us that it was a bad idea so i called a local tattoo shop and they said that if a woman is pregnant anywho who has a license that does that tattoo can have their license taken. I've also heard that the ink can get into the babies blood stream. I agree with the other mommas it would be in your childs best interest to wait. It may be something that you enjoy but your babys needs are what needs to be put first.

You know tattoos are a no no in the bible, you are not even supposed to wear jewelry or get your hair done etc. I just love how some "christians" pick and choose what parts of the bible they follow.
"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the Lord."
2 when they observe your chaste conductaccompanied by fear. 3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward
"We don't know how tattoo dyes and inks affect a developing baby. Small amounts of chemicals that might be harmless to an adult can have a much bigger impact on a tiny fetus."
Most tattoo artist are smart
"I am a tattoo artist and have been involved in the community for almost 20 years, and the rule any self resepcting artist is that people who are pregnant SHOULD NOT BE TATTOOED OR PIERCED! period. because both of these things causes your body pain and trauma, and when youre body feels pain, your body reacts in a physiological manner, and that stress and tension could harm your child. why risk it? just wait the 9 months and get it done then.
You should NOT get a tattoo while pregnant as the huge amount of adrenaline your body produces can cause miscarriage you are also very prone to get a blood infection no matter how clean your tattoo parlour is and your body is trying to keep your buba safe (information taken from my tattoo artist and confirmed by other tattoo artists i have spoken to)"
