But they believe in the same concept. That there is someone or something out there that created all of this, all of us.

Christians yes... But not me or anyone else who is agnostic or atheist. Sin doesn't exist for us.

Now that's just your opinion. It's not fact. What is fact is that you can't really be alive if you're brain dead. A fetus doesn't get adiquit brain waves until 24 weeks gestation. Until that time, it's more camarable with a brain dead patient. I mean, it's "hooked" to a "host". It cannot survive without the mother, like a brain dead patient can't survive without machines.

The fetal period lasts from the beginning of the THIRD month until birth (or about 7 months). During this period the organs and systems mature and become functional, although different systems develop at different points thought this period. (table will be provided) Particularly noteworthy is brain development. At about 24 weeks, the fetus begins to develop primitive brain waves, which have been virtually absent up until this time, although these early electrical patterns are similar to those that characterize brain death in adults. During the last trimester, the brain becomes more functional and there fore capable of regulating other bodily functions, such as breathing and sleeping.

No. 18 days after conception.

I keep seeing 18 days. lol, and we have billboards everywhere that say "A baby's heart beat starts 18 days after conception" (an anti abortion billboard)

They're all over Virginia. I don't think it's true, though.

I was thinking the casket should be lined with the wrappers from maxipads... you know, the really pretty, multicolured ones... little "Always" brandname printed on everything... "Always" in our thoughts; "Always" in our hearts; "Always" and forever precious, Oh unfertilized, yet infinitely cherished, ovum of mine...

It is, yet wonderfully appropriate for someone who's going to name and mourn the loss of an unfertilized egg.
