I'll be 6 weeks pregnant when we have a trip planned to an amusement park.....

Can I ride the roller coasters or would it be dangerous to the baby?

I wouldn't recommend it. Look how much they jar you. Imagine what it can do to a tiny tiny baby.

No offense, but are you retarded?! Stuff like that is never okay no matter how far along you are! And its really common sense. Plus, my mom went to Six Flags and didnt know she was pregnant, found out she miscarried because of riding all the rides.

I don't think I would ride anything crazy, but a little wooden coaster or something would probably be ok. In order to cause damage to your fetus, you have to be hit hard enough to cause internal damage to other organs. Sorry if that doesn't quite make sense. At 6 weeks, the baby is so small and still in the pelvic bone, so the harnesses/belts woldn't hurt you. There is certainly a reason they say "no pregnant women" on the sign when you are in line....

Putting "no offense" at the beginning of that sentence did not magically make calling someone retarded unoffensive.

OP it's not really about how jerky the ride is at the point, but the actual stress to your body, which leads to your fetus. It's been proven your anxiety & stress levels rise dramatically during amusement park rides, & that isn't healthy for the baby.
