I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with # 3, I never experienced any issues with my vision with my other 2 pregnancies. I am having issues with blurred vision on and off through out the day esp. when I am at work. I got really bad last week, it felt like a strobe light was going off in my left eye. I called my ob/gyn they advised me to keep hydrated, check my BP, and if I felt like it was getting worse go to the hospital or come in for appointment the next day. My bp has been fine, the nurse on call the next day suggested I make an appointment with an eye doctor. Has anyone else experienced vision troubles while pregnant?
Don't quote me on this but doesn't GD mess with eye sight? Have you had your glucose test yet?
i get blurry vision and dizzyness and sweats do u get that 2 with it?im only 22 wks
I got my tolerance testing 2 weeks ago, no issues there. No dizziness or sweats, just the blurred vision. If it does not go away after having the baby, I guess I just have to suck it up and see an eye doctor.
i had the same thing when i was 15 weeks , but i had a line through my right eye and couldnt see past and it really hurt with little black dots.. i went from doctors to the hospital through the ER and got moved to the eye clinic and got sent to another hospital.. i had a viral infection behind my eye, making it sore and sensitive and hard to see.. hope this helps!! :)
Thanks for all who commented with advice ! Greatly appreciated !
Quoting karlyiac88:" I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with # 3, I never experienced any issues with my vision with my other ... [snip!] ... the next day suggested I make an appointment with an eye doctor. Has anyone else experienced vision troubles while pregnant?"
this happened to me a lot especially in the beginning. my vision was blurred and at some points in the day it would flicker. I swear my answer to everything is hydration lol. so many of my problems went away when i actually measured out 64oz a day and drank that much water no matter what. its hard but you will feel a lot better in many regards.
