Okay so I have an apt. in an hour and I was wondering what to eat for breakfast. My instructions say don't eat anything with lots of starch or sugar. I don't want to fail it but I was going to eat a mini bagel and a banana, then I looked up foods with starch and it named bread and fruit lol so what do I eat?
Nothing!! You supposed to fast.

mine instructions don't say I have to fast, I knew some doctors did that but I'm not going to fast b/c I don't want to feel sick. So anyone else that was allowed to eat what did you eat?
my doctor told me to eat totally normal, but don't go over board on breads and sugars...i had fajitas for lunch about 2 hours before my test and i passed with flying colors!
the day I took mine I ate 2 strawberry frosted donuts and a bagel with cream cheese from DUNKIN DONUTS! yum
Kay well I guess I'll still eat the bagel b/c thats basically what I eat every morning and that wouldnt be changing my diet.

i didn't eat anything when i did my glucose test and i passed with flying colors :D
I think some doctors are changing it because I didnt have to fast for it, which was a good thing cause I was still having morning sickness problems :(
oh yea and the people at the lab that was doingmy test told me to NOT eat anything.
well i was told bye my doctor to eat what i would usually eat.it doesnt matter if you eat sugar or not, you're not gonna fail cuz you ate sugar.the test is actually to see how your body produces and breaks down insulin.you fail when your bodys not working properly.i only failed once and that was my last time and i didnt eat anything before that test....
My doctor had me eat 17 jelly bellies at home an hour before, instead of taking that nasty drink, then I just showed up at the lab 10 minutes before my hour was up. Other then that they said absolutely, do not eat anything else.
