Anyone ever have several pregnancy tests come back negative and ended up being pregnant anyway? Are blood tests really more accurate? I asked a lab tech and he said they weren't...

My co-worker had all negative pregnancy tests. The ER did a blood test and she was indeed pregnant. The hormone level wasn't high enough for the urine test to detect it. I've also had the same thing happen. I KNEW I was pregnant because I hate apple juice with a passion and all the urine tests kept coming up negative. I demanded blood work, lo and behold I was pregnant.
But I think I had my LMP wrong and it was too early to test which is why they were negative.. the blood test caught it though.
I took several with my third baby and they were all negative, including the blood test. I told my nurse they were wrong and about a week later I finally got a positive result. I had a I told u so moment. I was almost three months pregnant before my test was positive
I had 2 negatives before I got a positive digital. I never had a blood test done but I always heard they were more accurate because they can detect a smaller amount of hormones in your system versus the pee tests that only pick it up when it's really concentrated. Maybe you haven't waited long enough? Hope you get the positive soon if that's what you're hoping for.

My LMP was in October. I was breastfeeding from August 17th til about two weeks ago. Now here's the weird part, I had a period in September, and October. Both were totally normal periods. Then November, December and January nothing. Unless you call nosebleeds, periods lol. So you all can understand why I can't figure out whats going on. I'm neaseus, tired, dizzy, headaches. The works. Ugh.
This sounds weird, but I just read this on this board the other day. Try using your breast milk to do a urine test.
Some gal said that her girlfriend felt pregnant, but couldn't get a positive test and was breastfeeding. She immediately got a positive when she used her breastmilk to test. According to the poster "the HCG was all going to the milk", or something like that.

Thant is weird, but I'm willing to try anything at this point. I hate it when I don't know what's going on with my own body. Thanks for the advice!
Me I did with my first baby I took so many test and they all came back not preggers and then we went to the walk in because I still hadnt had my period and the doc told me i was 4 months preggers and they found out with a blood test because I told him that I took so many test and they were all negative
With my first pregnancy w/my daughter I took several pregnancy tests over the first few months and every single test came back negative, but I knew I was pregnant because of all the symptoms I was having...finally had to go and get a blood test done, and sure enough, it came back positive...blood tests are more accurate at detecting the pregnancy hormone in your body.
Yup I took alot and I do mean alot of pregnancy tests of all kinds with my first child and it kept say negative and I wasnt getting a period and I just knew I was pregnant and finally when I was 3 months it showed up threw a blood pregnancy test at the doctors. but it took 3 months to show up. But with my second it showed up only at 2 weeks and this one I took one I guess I was 3 weeks and it was negative then 2 weeks later I took another one and it was possitive.
Thank you all for your replies. This gives me hope. Lol. I have a 5 month old baby and this would be a huge surprise. I just don't know what to do cuz I have no insurance or money to go to the doctor. Ugh this is a sucky situation.
