i'm pregnant also
i had a bad cough so i took some robitussin to help my doctor says i can
i got a bad head ache though :(
and i wanted to take some tylenol but i just took some robitussin
If the robitussin doesn't have acetaminophen in it, I don't see why you can't take some tylenol?
Yes Tylenol is the most recommended pain medication for preqnant women.
i wouldn't take the Robitussin and yes Tylenol but make sure it says REGULAR STRENGTH !
You can take extra strength Tylenol ! That's all I took with my kids and they came out just fine !
Both of those are fine to take during pregnancy. As far as whether or not you can take them together, it depends on the type of Robitussin. (My doc told me to only take DM during pregnancy, btw)
Check the label to see if it contains acetaminophen.

My doctor told me not too and i never had a cough when i was pregnant so i wouldn't know, i just know that i was too afraid to try anything.

You can. According to all of my OBs and hospital staff over three pregnancies. lol
I take extra strength Tylenol as well.

my doctor gave me a list of medications to take and robitussin DM was one of them too.
Generally considered safe:
Guaifenesin, an expectorant (Hytuss, Mucinex, Naldecon Senior EX, Robitussin)
Dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant (Benylin Adult, Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough, Scot-Tussin DM, Vicks 44 Cough Relief)
Guaifenesin plus dextromethorphan (Benylin Expectorant, Robitussin DM, Vicks 44E)
Cough drops
Vicks VapoRub
Not safe to take:
Cold remedies that contain alcohol
The decongestants pseudoephedrine and phenylephrine, which can affect blood flow to the placenta

Robitussin DM is perfectly fine to take, it's right there in that list, and is what I was specifically told to take.
That's what I take even when I'm not pregnant, since I'm diabetic.
