I thought that I already made it through this phase during my first trimester but now beginning my third trimester, it's all coming back. All this week and last I've been having on and off nausea and today I puked twice. I will get dizzy periodically throughout the week also. The dizziness isn't a daily occurance, but when I do get it, it is unbearable, like I'm going to pass out if I don't rest a little bit. Is it normal to have these two things come back in the third trimester? I know that fatigue and being exhausted (which I am majority of the time) is very normal due to the extra weight you're carrying around and shortness of breath from the uterus pushing up near your lungs...but I don't know if dizziness is something to be overly concerned about. Does anyone else feel this way in their last trimester?
Dizziness can be a sign of dehydration....drink lots of H2O!
I just hit 28 weeks and my nausea is returning...yuck.
Quoting Sodypop Girl:
I am 31 weeks and the same thing is happening to me. I also have had the cloudy urine for about 3 weeks. So I'm gonna try to drink more water and see if that helps! Thanks Sodypop girl!
ugh. i've been suffering a cold- so now i'm left with this horrible stuffy nose that I can hardly breathe out of.. and so walking leaves me out of breath. I feel like there is someone sitting on my chest sometimes. I've never been so short of breath. When i'm getting ready for the day, I have to sit down because putting on my make up makes me dizzy! I hate how it feels now vs.
nausea can return in the 3rd trimester. sometimes it's just morning sickness again, but sometimes it's a symptom of worsening pre-ecclampsia. just because you haven't had high blood pressure doesn't mean you aren't in danger, it can come on suddenly and your doctor should check that and blood work to ensure that you aren't pre-ecclamptic. The dizziness and visual changes like seeing spots and the room spinning can also be signs of pre-ecclampsia. More innocently it could be simple dehydration or a viral infection (which is what i had when i was having dizziness and fainting and it just needed to run it's course)
I had that, bad, the dizziness. But of course my blood pressure was fine so I was told that it was just another joy of being pregnant. I would get headaches as well so I put it down to having so much blood rushing around!
But definitely mention it to your doc. A lot of girls get sickness in the third trimester as well, unfortunately.
Hope it all goes well...
Quoting Mommy Pett!:
Hey. This sounds exactly like what I'm going through. The nurse said to rest, drink plenty of fluids, and have someone bring me in to get checked out...I've been a little upset and worried...I've had no symptoms with either pregnancy up to this point, other than some nausea in my first pregnancy...
I'm 34 weeks and still suffer from it. In fact today I actually got sick. Just stay hydrated and take it easy.
