my friend was telling me that she needs help paying her rent and someone had told her to go to a church and they would help her is this true>? iv never heard of that before so i was just wondering
Generally, if they have the funds, they will. I remember once a church paid our rent when I was younger. I overheard my dad talking about ti.
some do. Where I used to live if you showed them 2 eviction notices then they would help. Or something like that
if they can they will. if she has kids they will deff try and help as much as they can.
Some due, if they have it. If you lost your job or are having a hardship they will try to help
Some will, especially n larger cities.. if you live in an apartment complex ask the office manager, they usually have a list of donating churches.
Some churches do. They may pay some of it or all of it.
My aunt's church does, but requires you to sign a thing saying you'll help out in Sunday school twice in three months.
really that is really nice of them i just never new they did that i new they helped with food and stuff. do u know were she would have to go to find out, or just check with different churches around her>?
many LDS churches help
Some will help, others not so much. My SO has had to go to 3 different priest..minister.. (whatever people want to call them) homes, and somehow they manage to afford Million dollar houses along the river.. hmmmmmm. I would assume those churches are not handing out donations. haha.
Some will. My friend's mom got a car from a church once when she was little.
I think a lot of churches will help, but I think usually they only help out people who are members of their church. I may be wrong though.
Try a catholic church. Or, better yet, the catholic charities. They have been low on funding but they still take only a certain amount of people. A few years back my best friend just asked for help with his electric bill, just to pay it current. They paid all of it, then a few days later he went to pay rent and the apartment manager said the catholic charities had already taken care of it. They are a fantastic charity, they just can't always help everyone. Typically most agencies, like them, will take applicants once a month, I know here they take them the second to last Tuesday of every month.
