I eat right, my blood pressure is low. I do an hour of cardio every other day. I drink plenty of water. I was 125 before I got pregnant and now I'm 178...I'm 7 mpnths pregnant ..HELP. It won't seem to stop! I'm not swollen, and most people say it looks like the weight is only going to my pregnant belly...has anyone else had this
Ur going to gain wt, ur pregnant.
You're eating right, not over indulging, and exercising. Those are good habits to be in and will make your body ready to shed the weight post partum.
But for now... you're just going to gain the weight - everyone is different. Is your doctor concerned about your weight gain?
i wouldnt worry too much about it now,but after your baby is born you can go crazy and run 6 hours everyday if thats what it takes! speaking of which..im going to go run now
I've gained a ton of weight too and I'm really starting to get depressed and not want to see anyone because of it. I'm 29wks, 48lbs and counting!

Don't stress! Its going to happen! I only gained 27lbs yet my sister gained 80lbs :shock: she did however lose it all by 6 months pp and she looks great. Actually better than I do!
As long as the doctor isn't concerned I wouldn't be. Enjoy yourself! You are having a baby :D
I gained over 100 with my son. And he was completely healthy. He was a huge baby, and my docs were idiots and didn't realize he was going to be that big.
It took me a while to shed all the weight. But if you breast feed it will come off a lot quicker then you think.
5'6 and I'm definitely planning on breast feeding. I'm already looking at the "Biggest loser" challenge on the Wii. A few celebrities said that's how they shed their baby weight. I figure it will be easier to work out at home, so I can still watch the baby.
If your Dr. isn't worried about it and you are eating right and staying active, then there is no need to worry. Yes, it will be hard to lose it after, but obviously your body feels the need to gain this weight in order to create your baby. Gaining weight is part of being pregnant, and yes, everyone is very different. In fact every pregnancy is very different. I gained 25lbs with my first, and so far with my second (33 weeks) I have already gained that much. I eat basically the same, and am actually more active now.
Whatever you do, don't try to cut back eating or step up your exercise to try and keep from gaining weight, that will not be good for your baby. You only have a few more months, and like the poster before me said, after that baby comes, you can go run 6 hours a day is you want.
