what can this cause later in life?!
my sons pedi told me today that too much skin had been taken off when he was circumcised. i asked him what would it do, and he wouldnt answer me. he just kept telling me we would have to watch it as he grew.. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! is it so horrible he cant tell me?? i feel so terrible for what ive done now.. (and i dont need any of you lecturing me that i shouldnt of had it done. its done and over with, cant take it back) his pedi seemed (i dont know the real word to describe it.. but) very upset, or disturbed.. whats the worst that can happen from having too much skin removed? its been bothing me all day long, that i just ruined my son, my grandbaby maker.. i asked him if it would still work, but this answer isnt good enough for me.. i want to know WHY he seemed so awkward about it!
aweee :( maybe try google or yahoo answers?
That is horrible. I'm so sorry but I think it's lame and very unprofessional of him to not tell you!
Also I'm so sorry you and your son have to go through this and have a doctor not telling you anything!
This websit mentions some of the affects it might have. A major one is bleeding so keep an eye on it.
Usually too tight a circumcision causes very tight erections later on... and depending on the severity can pull the scrotum skin up onto the shaft of the p***s, causing a hairy shaft... or in some cases it can cause buried p***s syndrome where some of the erectile shaft is held within the pubic mound so the p***s appears smaller than it is.
This can cause a bent p***s, if the skin is unevenly tight, or one that pulls to the right or the left.
It can cause painful intercourse, or little tears in the shaft skin where it attaches to the head.
The good news is that there are several techniques he can employ as an adult that can help restore some of the skin on his shaft, by using a stretching device. The constant tugging of the existing foreskin will cause new skin to grow where his foreskin was removed, and help loosen up that tight shaft area.
You can google "foreskin restoration" if you would like more info on it, you can instruct him how to do this once he reaches puberty, it will probably make things less of a problem for him in adulthood.
Best of luck!!
11. Excessive Skin Loss -- "devastating complications result from cutting off too much skin. . . . Excessive skin loss can result from the operator severing too much foreskin, from infection of the wound resulting in tissue death, or from a burn caused by an electrocautery device. Sometimes the entire penile shaft becomes denuded and skin grafting is necessary. . . . as the individual grows older his penile skin becomes too tight, causing discomfort on erection."
found that on
That's why you should leave it how God intended. Poor baby.
