I have been breastfeeding my son now for 7 months. I pump 9 oz every 3 hours!  The key is 1 drink lots of fluids thats very important!!! When he was first born until about 2 weeks i did nothing but nurse him. then after the second week every time i nursed him i would pump right after and empty out my breast usually about 10 min on each side. which tricked my body into thinking my son drank that much milk. I don't nurse him anymore because he has teeth lol but i pump every 3 hours. Hope this helps some of you breastfeeding moms!

I started breastfeeding but my little one preferred a bottle (with breastmilk) instead. I felt so horrible.

But I was pumping ever 3 hours 24 hours a day. So tired and I got real sick. So my OB told me to skip a pump to sleep and it messed up everything.

I started producing more foremilk than hindmilk and had to substitute with formula because she started having this green frothy looking poop and severe painful gas... I felt so guilty.

As tired as you get, keep the pumping going and try not to stop... I even stopped producing after 7 months. I wrote a post on my blog about how breast milk is awesome sauce.

As much as you can always try to breastfeed or bottle the breast milk. I still feel so guilty and my daughter is 14 months.

I have been drinking Healthy nursing tea, an organic herbal lactation tea to increase my breast milk supply, which helped me a lot and boosted my supply.
